The question is whether buyers have been waiting for a vehicle like Chevy’s midsize pickup. History suggests that when an automaker offers pickup owners something a little smaller, with a bit less towing and hauling capacity, the response is, “Nah, I’m good.”Smaller pickups fell out of favor after decades when they were very popular, especially with young buyers. Demand fell to the point that neither Ford nor Fiat Chrysler offer a small pickup. The Canyon shares most of its parts, features and specifications with the Colorado.All Colorados have four doors and a rear seat. The crew cab’s rear seat is bigger than the less expensive extended cab.Colorado prices start at $20,130 for a rear-drive extended-cab model with a 200-hp 2.5L four-cylinder engine and six-speed manual transmission.
