Three-month-old William Jones-Franklin was reported missing Friday from a home in Denver. Police believed he had been taken by his mother, who does not have custody, and were concerned for his safety.

Officials say just after 5 p.m. Friday, William Jones-Franklin was taken by his non-custodial mother, Lisa Nicole Jones. Jones reportedly took the infant from the 1500 block of Pearl Street and was believed to be driving a brown Chevrolet van with Colorado license plate 934-QRH.
Jones is described as a 34-year-old white woman with blonde hair and hazel eyes.
According to police, the child is believed to be in danger. They are asking anyone with information to call 911.
Police have not elaborated on why they are concerned for the baby’s safety.
