Colorado Rockies prospect Jordan Patterson hit his 99th career home run to provide the only run in the Albuquerque Isotopes’ 7-1 loss to the El Paso Chihuahuas on Saturday night.

It was a strong game for Patterson overall, as he also added a triple in going 2-for-4 on the night. He is hitting .264/.369/.554 with 18 home runs for the Isotopes on the season. He is now up to 58 home runs in his career with Albuquerque, two shy of tying the Isotopes’ all-time record.

Patterson’s strong season at Triple-A should be giving him a push for his first MLB action since 2016, though the Rockies do currently have an abundance of outfielders to choose from.
