Ryan Haarer, KUSA.com 11:41 a.m. MDT March 16, 2015Lori Clyncke, a Denver Sheriff’s Deputy, was killed Sunday.(Photo: Facebook)DENVER- A Denver Sheriff’s Deputy was killed in a motorcycle crash on Sunday near Greeley.Lori Clyncke, a ten year veteran of the department, was riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Highway 60 when a man driving eastbound veered across the center median and collided with her.Clyncke was off-duty at the time of the accident.Both the driver of the other vehicle, a Dodge Caravan, and Clyncke were taken to the Medical Center of the Rockies.Clyncke died at the hospital.The other driver is still there.Police say drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors.The crash is still being investigated.Clyncke was a ten year veteran with the department. She worked in the intake area of the downtown detention center. Previously she worked in court services.”(Lori) was very well liked, hard working.
