He had a broken and infected tooth extracted and reconstruction surgery on his head.Animal control said Bubba G’s scabs, mixed with fresh wounds, indicate this was not a one time incident. It appears Bubba G was a bait dog.Authorities are looking for the person or persons who abandoned the dog at 1500 West Maple Avenue in Denver. This case raises concerns that dog fighting rings are active in the city.Convictions in animal cruelty cases could result in fines from $1,000 to $100,000 and/or six months to six years in jail.If you have information related to this case, please call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP.
