KUSA – A large plume of smoke is visible in wake of a fire that started burning Tuesday afternoon at a recycling plant northeast of downtown Denver.

Video from Sky9 showed heavy flames and black smoke at the facility, which is EVRAZ Recycling Denver at 5601 York St.

The blaze is near the Denver and Adams County lines.

The Denver Fire Department tweeted that the Adams County Fire Rescue is the main agency fighting the fire, but they have been called to assist.

Several units are working the incident, according to a video tweeted by Adams County Fire.
