Offensive Coordinator Rick Dennison, Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips and Special Teams Coordinator Joe DeCamillis met the local media at the team’s headquarters.Dennison is a 20-year NFL coaching veteran with 15 years of experience with the Broncos, including three seasons (2006-08) as Denver’s offensive coordinator.”I was going to come back to Colorado whether I got [the position] or not,” Dennison said during Tuesday’s press conference.A linebacker for the Broncos from 1982 to 1990, Dennison began his coaching tenure with the club in 1995 and held various roles with the team, including offensive assistant (1995 to 1996), special teams coordinator (1997 to 2000) and offensive line coach (2001 to 2005, ’09) in addition to his three years as offensive coordinator.Dennison mentioned he’s excited to figure out what the Broncos do best and that this position is an exceptional opportunity to work for the Broncos. Dennison would not address whether quarterback Peyton Manning is officially returning for the 2015-2016 season, saying he’s letting Manning take his time because he deserves it. He did, however, talk up running back CJ Anderson.”I met with [Anderson.] I liked the kid,” Dennison said. “He had a great year last year.
