Walker, The Denver Post) A large crowd and great weather are expected in Denver for Saturday’s 53rd annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.This year’s parade starts at 9:30 a..m. — earlier than some previous years — and is expected to last almost four hours. The parade takes a unique route through Lower Downtown, starting at 19th and Wynkoop streets, heading south past Union Station, jogging east on 17th Street for two blocks and then heading north on Blake Street past Coors Field. Organizers say the best viewing is along Blake Street.This year’s grand marshall is historian Thomas J.
