Former Rogers State and Broken Arrow catcher Lance Rymel has signed a minor league contract with the Colorado Rockies.

Rymel, 24, was assigned to high Single-A Modesto. He spent the first three years of his pro career with the Chicago Cubs organization after being drafted in 2012. The Cubs released him during the offseason.
