In a season marred by offensive ineptitude for the Rockies, Triple-A prospects Ryan McMahon, Tom Murphy, and Mike Tauchman continued their torrid hitting for the Isotopes on Tuesday night. McMahon and Tauchman both homered twice and Murphy added his own solo blast as the ‘Topes were powered to victory by three players who could provide a desperately needed offensive boost to the major league club. For McMahon and Murphy, it’s difficult too see what more they could do to prove they deserve a spot (and regular playing time) in the Rockies lineup.

In Hartford, Yonathan Daza had a day by going 2-for-5 with a home run and a double, Brendan Rodgers doubled in a two-hit performance, Brian Mundell knocked in three runs, and Sam Hilliard collected his 12th stolen base of the year.

Forrest Wall continued his resurgent season for the JetHawks by hitting his second home run of the year, and Vince Fernandez added his 5th blast for Lancaster in a close victory over Visalia.
