SPRING VALLEY —
Sheriff’s deputies raided an unlicensed marijuana dispensary in Spring Valley, arrested eight men and seizing loaded guns, cash and cannabis, the department said Friday .
Detectives, backed up by deputies from several stations, served a warrant about 7 a.m. Thursday at a dispensary on Grand Avenue, about two blocks north of Jamacha Boulevard, according to a news release.
The search turned up three loaded guns and nearly $17,000 in cash, the department said.
Deputies also seized more than 160 pounds of processed marijuana and more than 17 pounds of concentrated marijuana.
They found 160 pounds of THC vape products, 303 pounds of THC infused drinks, and 217.5 pounds of THC-infused edibles. Some of the edibles “falsely appeared to be legitimate candy and snacks,” the department said.
The agency said county code compliance officers found several potentially dangerous violations, and asked San Diego Gas & Electric to cut power to the site.
