Sioux Falls has released applications for medical cannabis dispensaries and testing facilities, although they cannot yet be submitted for approval.

The applications, available on the city’s website, contain instructions on how to apply for a license for either business, including the necessary fees, documents and plans required as well as several other required questions.

While there’s no limit on the number of testing facilities allowed in the city, regulations approved by the Sioux Falls City Council that go into effect on Oct. 1 cap the number of dispensaries in city limits at five, meaning they’ll be distributed through a lottery process which the website says will be outlined at a later date.
