RIDGEDALE — A number of the best pass rushers in the NFL are at Big Cedar Lodge for Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller’s second annual pass rushing summit.
Miller, a Denver Broncos All-Pro outside linebacker, hosted his first summit on the campus at Stanford University in California last year. It was attended by pass rushers Khalil Mack, Vic Beasley and Malik Jackson among others.
This year’s summit features Broncos fifth overall pick in the most recent NFL Draft, Bradley Chubb, along with DeForest Buckner, Bud Dupree, Marcus Davenport and Charles Harris among others.
A list of attendees also lists Pro Football Hall of Famers Bruce Smith and Warren Sapp.
Miller told reporters in May that Bass Pro Shops is sponsoring the event.
The summit is not Miller’s first trip to a Bass Pro attraction.
The outside linebacker gave thumbs up to Wonders of Wildlife when he visited the USA Today’s America’s Best Aquarium in January.
A fishing component will be a part of the event.
The News-Leader has a reporter and a photographer at Top of the Rock this morning.
